realme 8 Pro and GT highlights in 2022
realme introduced its new flagship smartphone realme 8 Pro and GT.
realme 8 Pro is the first realme smartphone to have a 108 megapixel camera, the highest resolution available in smartphone camera modules. This 108-megapixel camera is powered by the Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor.
Instead of standard cropping, the camera captures an enlarged area of 12 megapixels from the current 108 megapixels. Its speed also powers the sharpening algorithm, which takes eight shots and then produces a sharper, more detailed photo. The 3x magnification achieved by realme 8 Pro software methods is not inferior to that offered by 3x optical zoom lenses.
Realme 8 Pro offers the updated second generation Astronomical Mode. The process of photographing the starry sky consists of two stages – first, the frame is illuminated using a special algorithm and then processed by an image processor to reduce noise in the photo.
Tilt-shift mode will help create an optical illusion and turn a familiar landscape into a “miniature world”. When we look at the subject, the foreground and background are out of focus – if we add a certain blur effect to this focus, we see the composition as a layout. Usually this result is achieved with an expensive lens, but the new algorithm used in realme 8 Pro will help to get the same shot without additional equipment. Customizable mode – user chooses angle, zones and degree of blur.
realme 8 Pro offers five solutions to create a truly stylish portrait by adding background blur, smart processing and neon style.
Neon filter portrait; As a rule, portraits taken at night do not differ in a number of interesting details in the background, and the neon mode corrects this situation. The Neon-filtered Portrait function further blurs the backlight for a “dreamy” effect.
dynamic bokeh; This mode helps the subject stand out against a dynamic background, creating a motion effect.
AI color portrait; In this mode, the subject is displayed in color and the background remains black and white.
Updated AI portrait; A new algorithm for creating a “smart” portrait automatically detects the shooting scenario and adjusts exposure accordingly. Impressive images are achieved without manual editing or additional adjustments.

50W SuperDart Charge charges the 4,500mAh battery from 0% to 100% in 47 minutes and provides 50% charge in 17 minutes. realme 8 Pro comes with a 50W adapter that can be used to quickly charge not only your smartphone but also other devices. In addition, the smartphone itself supports reverse charging technology – it can also charge other devices. A three-minute charge provides up to four hours of talk time, up to 11 hours of music playback, up to three hours of WhatsApp communication and up to 77 hours of standby time.
